Great intermediate to advanced groomed runs as well as off-piste skiing. I didn’t spend a lot of time there, as it is usually very busy on weekends. Until about 2005, the lift system to get back to Zermatt was terrible. A lot of slow T-Bars. Meanwhile, they built four high-speed quads, which should improve the situation a lot.
Linked with Zermatt Switzerland. I have to go back and see how it is now. When I skied there, I was not into powder skiing and, therefore, I can’t really judge it.
Food
If you ski there the same day you ski in Zermatt, be sure to eat on the Italian side. A better value, especially if you like Italian food.
